The World is Earth.
The Year is 1974.
But it is not our own Earth.

Nations
This world has a very rigid political system in which the top nations stay there and the ones at the bottom generally stay there and are picked on by the bigger nations. The majority of nations in this world are often extremely small Despotocracys and are stuck in a of a league of puppets and satalites of a bigger more powerfull Great Power. There would be a few nations in the “middle” about the size of Modern Germany and they would have relitiveley small but efficient economys they would often be semi-free of Great Power Influence but would be allied greatly with other Middle Powers.

Camoflauge is a relitivley new invention in thsi world. Tah first widespread use of camoflauge was the late 40’s although it was used since the 30’s.

In the Great Powers
The music of this world would be greatly varied but still behind our worlds standards. There would be three groups of music in the Great Powers: Sponsered, Accepted, and Frowned Upon. The Sponsered music would be like the Symphonys of Wagner, made to inspire thier people and induce nationalism. Accepted music is Jazz and Music of that sort. Frowned Upon Music include Rock, Electronic, and Punk of up to the time period of 1990. Rap, Hip-Hop, and most modern “Pop” music is unknown. Martial Industrial music is popular among youths in mant Great Power citys.
In the Middle Powers
The Music of the Middle Powers is more varied than the music of the great powers. This is because those nations are (on average) more liberal and loose.
In the Minor Nations
Regional Types
In the southern part of the Grand Duchy of Labrador the music known as R&B (Rythm and Blues) are popular. Funk is also played among the Floridian and Louisianan Duchys, the Father of Funk is considered Edwin Starr although he is better known worldwide for his R&B songs.

Distribution
The most popular(and most common!) type of music distribution is the Compact Cassete. They can be bought for Very Cheap Prices almost everywhere. After the Cassette comes the Record which is was almost completly outdated since the late 1960s.
Cinema
Cinema of this world is spread across many genres, many are government produced, but many are also privately produced.

Sci-Fi is one of the main kinds of Cinema in this world. 2001:A Space Odyssey is more mainstream. The sucsess of that movie brought upon a new kind of movie: the Silent Sci-Fi, this genre is characterised by Little Talking and their Soundtracks. Examples of these kinds of Movies include “The Wanderer” and “The Last Patrol”. Sci-Fi Television Shows are popular and tend to be long running, there popularity began in the early 30’s and began declining in popularity in the early 6os. The Space Opera genre is popular with such sucsess as “Star Wars” and
